The Stormwater Committee provides policy and technical advice and recommendations to the C/CAG Board of Directors and direction to technical subcommittees on all matters relating to stormwater management and compliance with associated regulatory mandates from the State Water Resources Control Board and San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board.

The next Storwmater Committee meeting is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., October 17, 2024 at the San Mateo County Transit District Office located at 1250 San Carlos Ave, 2nd Fl. Auditorium, San Carlos. Membership
The Stormwater Committee is comprised of one director-level or equivalent executive position (or named individual) representative from each of the 21 member agencies, with decision-making authority and primary responsibility for implementing stormwater management programs within their jurisdictions and one non-voting executive management position (or named individual) representative from the Regional Water Quality Control Board staff. The C/CAG Committee members and the Regional Water Quality Control Board member may have one alternate position (or named individual) with similar decision-making authority and responsibility with respect to implementing the Regional Municipal Storwmater Permit. As will the primary member representatives, C/CAG member alternates are considered voting members; however, the Reigonal Water Quality Control Board member alternate is a non-voting representative. All member positions/named individuals are approved by the C/CAG Board. There are no term limits and members may be removed and replaced as needed.
The Committee meets on a monthly basis, depending on need, on the third Thursday.
